Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 broke my freaking heart man! I felt so much for Rocket and Peter in this movie, and might I add that High Evolutionary was very well adaptated!!! The soundtrack as always was extremely impactful, and made me cry a ton! 10/10. Now it's time to make our own stories, because the dog days are over

I picture this song spoken from the perspective of a young woman, a wallflower going out with friends one night. She drinks and dances, losing herself to the lights and drink. There is a woman on the dancefloor. Long, curled hair, powerful, playful with all she comes across. She draws every eye, but the woman seems to cast a halo, as if there is a circle around her that no one wishes to cross. She moves with snake-like confidence. Its almost as if she comes from another world, cold, beautiful and cruel. I imagine her ensaring the wallflower girl in her sights, casting a spell with her swaying hips. A hand, held out. An offer. The girl reaches and crosses the invisible boundary, earning a small, conspirators grin in return. They dance together. The woman awakens something with her shivering touches, like a drop of blood shared in their kiss under the neon, blinding lights, spreading and catching light in her heart. At the apex of the night, the woman smiles, broad and gleeful at her prize, and flashes a dagger from the bodice of her gown. There is a sudden flash if silver and pain in the girl's palm, then... nothing for a time, until the lights draw back and the bodies that once swayed around the floor now lie in piles upon it. Blood soaks the girls clothes and the woman is nowhere to be seen. All that remains is one, crimson soaked blade at her feet. No one else but her has been spared. The girl has no memory of the time that passed in darkness, but the police clear her of any involvement. The officers seem almost anxious to have her exit the station. But, strangers seem to double take when they pass on the street, a glint of light in her eyes catching them the wrong way for a moment, and they hurry past, determined to keep their eyes on their path. There seems now a strange, intanglible border about her that no one seems willing, consciously or unconsciously to intrude upon. The girl has started to feel uncomfortable, too. Her head hurts from time to time and her teeth ache in her jaw. And in her dreams, the woman appears, night after night. Her dancing figure surrounded by the dead and her hand beckons for the girl to join in. She never knows if she wishes to run or glide closer. Above all, she finds it strange that her stomach hungers, no matter how much food she consumes, and the sound of crashing waves, of water, of blood, by her bedroom drowns out all other sounds. "Come home", their watery, unearthly voices call. "Come home".
